Community and artistic activities
These headings provide an opportunity for public expression of initiatives by community organizations, particularly women's organizations, which exist to: raise awareness campaigns and activities, call for change in government policies, or develop and share information on activities that contribute to women's empowerment, gender equality and an end to gender-based violence. Artistic activities with this aim are welcome.
It can take a variety of forms (theater, music, exhibitions of artistic objects, etc.).Proposals can be submitted by individuals or groups.
Community activities
Session fornmat
- Interventions grouped by the scientific committee into sessions moderated by a person designated by the organizers.
- Presentation of the organization and its activities targeting one of the congress main topic;
- One or two (2) people maximum, per activity, do the presentation, promotional material can be made available for distribution;
- Total duration: 1 hour 30 minutes;
- Number of speakers per session: 2 or 3 maximum;
- Duration of individual presentation: 20 minutes followed by questions and exchanges with the audience ;
- Choice of a main and secondary theme (see axes above) ;
- The summary must cover: mission, vision, values, challenges, community activity objectives.

Artistic activities
Session format
- The presenter chooses the format of his/her activity; - Total duration: 1 hour 30 minutes; - Number of speakers: determined by the organizers; - Allow 20 minutes for discussion with the audience; - Choice of main and secondary themes (see axes above); - Abstract of 1750 characters including spaces (see submission criteria below); - The abstract must be sent, after registration, to the following address: 5ccim-comitescientifique@umontreal.ca
